Lauren Duncan

Awards & Accomplishments:  Cum laude USC ‘18. Lauren graduated from VIDA Hot Yoga teacher training in Spring of 2021. With a degree in exercise science and an RYT designation, she plans to use her education and experience to explore the science and medical aspects of yoga for personal interest and also for a career in medicine. 

What Might We Be Surprised To Know About You?  As restrained and careful of a person as I am, I habitually put little to no thought into major, life-changing decisions…not because I don’t care; it’s just the one exciting thing I do for myself. It’s not always intentional, but it keeps things interesting. 

What Motivates You?  Becoming a physician. I’m just chasing the feelings I experienced in Belize, but it is something I’ve always wanted, and once I got that reassurance, I was set.

What is a fun, quirky, or surprising Information about Yourself? I love art! I can’t draw that; don’t ask me to draw that. But I do love pottery, marbling, jewelry-making, print-making, tie-dying, and creating fun DIY projects, mostly home decor.
